For the fifth time since 2007 and for the second time in as many years, the CVCC Baseball team was named by the NJCAA this week as an All Academic Team.

2013 CVCC BASEBALL TEAM

The 2013 team posted a 3.04 team GPA to earn this presigious honor.  The Pirate baseball program has been recognized on five different occasions:  2007, 2008, 2010, 2012, and 2013.

Dominique Smedley

Additionally, outfielder Dominique Smedley was named an NJCAA Academic All American Pinnacle Award winner.  Smedley, who earlier this semester, cleaned up at CVCC’s annual academic award’s banquet, posted a perfect 4.00 GPA during his career at CVCC, while earning his Associates Degree.
